How have printed mediums impacted social justice movements across history? How have organizers utilized screen printing and visual narrative to make transformative change? Printmaking has long served as an accessible means for expressing dissent and visions of change.
Come learn some of these stories, based in MN and far beyond, from longtime political graphic artist Ricardo Levins Morales.
We will share a gallery of historic and contemporary political graphics, make screen prints, and receive a brief introduction to the clay board medium Ricardo uses in his artwork.
